We make selling your clothes effortless and rewarding.
We Collect
Book a free collection. We’ll collect your items in person where available, or arrange a convenient DPD collection anywhere else.
We Prepare & Price
We inspect, photograph, measure and professionally present each accepted item. We agree the selling price with you before anything goes live.
We Sell
Your items are listed across suitable resale marketplaces and the SecondSplit shop for 6 weeks. They stay at the agreed price for 4 weeks, then reduce to the agreed minimum for the final 2.
You Get Paid
Once an item sells, we handle the buyer, packing, postage and everything in between. You receive your agreed share of the sale.
You’re in Control.
If your item doesn’t sell, you choose what happens next.
Return Your Items
We’ll return your unsold items to you via DPD. You cover the return delivery cost.
eBay 7-Day Auction
If you authorise this option, we run one seven-day eBay auction starting at £19.99, without automatic relisting. SecondSplit pays any auction insertion fee. The winning bid may be below your previous minimum; selling fees and commission follow your agreement, without the six-week minimum protection.

Simple, Transparent, Fair.
If your item sells through a marketplace that charges selling fees, we deduct those fees first, then calculate your commission on the remaining amount. Buyer-paid postage is excluded.
How your share is calculated. Commission is calculated separately for each item using the rates in your agreement. The commission basis is the item’s sale price after marketplace selling fees have been deducted, excluding buyer-paid postage. If no selling fees apply, we use the full item sale price.
Your agreed minimum. During the standard six-week selling period, selling fees cannot reduce the commission basis below your agreed minimum. This protection does not apply to a final auction you have authorised.
Your agreement takes priority. If your agreement says SecondSplit covers selling fees, your share is calculated before those fees and we pay them from our share. Existing signed agreements keep their agreed terms; the standard rates above do not replace a personalised agreement.
The £19.99 final-auction starting price applies to agreements not yet sent for approval. Agreements already sent or signed retain their agreed terms. Donation remains your choice; items are donated only with your authorisation.
